10 September – Chill with a small shop

I wake at 5:30 a.m.and yes, the bed is still empty. Similar to the last couple of days I begin the write up of the daily diary and Pat comes into the bedroom about 7:30. It seems When she had come back from the balcony after her ciggy and game- I was sparko – so didn't want to disturb me – left me alone going into other room!

Coffee and tea are made, and we decide to have another quiet day. That's the beauty of just being the two of us – no pressure and as we have visited all the parks over the two previous holidays here together no urgent need or desire to go to any of them.

So, we go down poolside - We enjoy the warmth, having the odd swim to cool off, and a drink for me and an Icee (oooh brain freeze material) for Pat. I manage to finish reading the book that I have been reading, and it's a perfect morning under the hot sun.

Hunger strikes just about the same time as yesterday, so head back to the apartment for a bacon sandwich, and to cool off. The food hits the spot, as does the cup of tea (well in Pat's case anyway). We realise we need to replenish some supplies, and also I want to see if we can find a dongle that works here – maybe putting the sim card that we are paying for but which cannot properly be used in the provided dongle.

We arrive at Walmart the Sat Nav still trying to send us the longer route, and go straight into the electrical area. There are a couple of probabilities – but all are pay as you go – and the download costs are also exorbitant, and it takes a few days to set up! So, we decide to forget it. Food supplies are grabbed, mainly coke and bacon, and we are out and set the Sat Nav for home. It is like the Sat Nav just doesn't like crossing main roads – and we end up going down the I-4 even when we were on International Drive, although as mentioned previously although longer in distance probably quicker!

We arrive back and it's no surprise that there is not a disabled parking bay! Back to the room, and Pat plays her games for a bit. I pop down to the bar, primarily to help an egg hatch and go to the Pokestop on Pokemon Go for Pat, but somehow a beer gets in my hands, or maybe two. Again, it is beginning to darken with lots of clouds, so I head back to the apartment.

I cook some pizza, although truthfully, they come out more like bowls, and after the clean up, we settle down to watch Kung Fu Panda 3 – only again I start to doze, waking up to find that it is contagious, and Pat is asleep as well. Turn everything off, and settle down and within a few minutes I am also back in deep sleep.
